Two-way tables will not feature in the mental arithmetic section of the QTS Numeracy professional skills test for ITT, but they seem to be a common feature of the on-screen section. This means that you will be allowed to use the on-screen calculator to help you, but the questions may be more involved and require several steps to answer. Being able to read a two-way table is an important skill for the test — questions may assess your ability to perform proportion, fraction and percentage calculations on the information presented in them, or perform statistical calculations like finding averages or the range of data. This worksheet covers a range of such questions. Follow this link for more free QTS Numeracy resources.
